Rolled (Flaked) Oats

Oatmeal is an absolute staple in most Canadian diets and are among one of the healthiest grains to consume. Not only are they a great source of antioxidants, but in and of themselves, oats are a gluten-free grain making them a wonderful alternative for those with gluten sensitivities.

Oats are also a great source of soluble fibre, aiding significantly in cholesterol levels, weight management, and of course, energy levels! Plus, have you seen self-care products (lotions, etc.) infused with oatmeal? This is because the oat starch applied topically to our skin, helps to create a natural barrier to retain moisture.

Believe it or not, our oats are RAW! We flake the oat groat whole without heating or steaming anything throughout the process. As a result, we have the nutritional content of the whole oat groat (similar to why steel cut oats are recommended) but the cooking time and texture of traditional oatmeal that all know and love! We call that a Win!
