Whole Grain Oat Flour
Oats are an absolute staple in most Canadian diets and are among one of the healthiest grains to consume.
Not only are they a great source of antioxidants, but in and of themselves, oats are a gluten-free grain making them a wonderful alternative for those with gluten sensitivities. Oats are also a great source of soluble fibre, aiding significantly in cholesterol levels, weight management, and of course, energy levels!
Plus, have you seen self-care products (lotions, etc.) infused with oatmeal? This is because the oat starch applied topically to our skin, helps to create a natural barrier to retain moisture.
Fun Fact? We mill our oat flour in a SEPARATE stone mill than we do for the rest of our grains. Why? Because we are doing our best to keep our oats that are naturally gluten-free, as free from gluten as we possibly can!
